Custom Panniers for Triumph Speed 400

Customer email from Adam. F: Hi Naz, can u quote please.  1 pair medium panniers but 1 only 250mm deep, other 300 as norm. All black with antique bronze hardware. Reason, upswept exhaust on right. Can we add horizontal strap and hardware like stubby pannier, like that look. 2x drink bottle holders in light sand also.

We made a set of Standard Panniers but one is 50mm shorter to account for the upswept pipe on his Triumph Speed 400. The Standard Panniers do not have the horizontal strap but we added one the same as on the Stubby Panniers.

Tool organiser for Tool Box Lid

Tool organiser

  • 490mm wide x 320mm wide overall with a small amount taken off the corner (the box has a small curve at the corner and taking a small triangle off the corner will stop the fabric getting caught in the lid seal)
  • 12 snap fasteners on the back side (opposite side to the pockets) snaps are 15mm from the edge to the centre, 50mm from the corners and the middle ones are in the centre. (photo attached showing snap positions)
  • 8 pockets (or 7 pockets if you think the screwdriver in the middle would be better with a elastic loop instead of a pocket)
  • 3 elastic loops

Custom Tool Roll for Florist

“Hi Naz
Thanks for the chat just now, here are the photos of the gear to fit in the roll (attached)
I think the design how you have the garden rolls on your website is pretty close – with the smaller pocket on the left for seeds/sachets/wire and the larger flat section behind for other larger loose stuff. Just so long as the other tools fit i guess. Colour was Brunswick Green.”

Custom Panniers

Customer: “I recently bought a Bike that has Pannier Racks to suit Wolfman Bags.  I would prefer to buy “Australian Made” Naz Bags and was wondering if I could order a pair of small Motorcycle Saddle Bags with a couple of minor alterations to the straps.

These would be two separate bags with no need for joining straps.  If it is possible to make the bags 350mm long instead of 300, that would be perfect, if not 300 would be ok.  (my OCD will adapt)  I am willing to pay extra for your time and effort.

I have attached a couple of pictures of the design and the Rack and am open to suggestions but feel my design would work well.”

Solar Panel Bag

Customer: “I was wondering whether you would be able to make a bag/cover for a folding solar panel I use when I am travelling. I was thinking about getting it made out of similar material to a horse rug, canvas outer with a heavy felt liner to protect the panel from damage when it is bouncing around in the back of my van. The panel is about 700x1000mm and about 50mm thick.”

Naz: “I would do that like the firepit bags I have been doing lately, although bigger. Just a flat bag with velcro across the top and handles that are stitched all the way around. The bag would be a bit larger in dimension to allow for the 50mm thickness. I have attached a photo of one of the fire pit bags. I can line it with horse rug wool fabric.”

23/05/22: These are soon to be a product for sale on the website as we have been doing a lot as custom orders. They are costing about $150 – $250 dependent on size and we have sourced a recycled wool lining. Please contact us for orders.

Solar panel bags are now available on the website.

Custom Spanner Roll

Custom Spanner Roll

The brief:

We need a replacement tool roll for our workshop spanner set. The clear pockets have perished and the spanners now fall out the bottom.

I’ve prepared a scale drawing (attached) having measured the original roll… Would also like to include a 21mm spanner.

The custom spanner roll we made is very similar to our standard canvas spanner roll but more pockets and a ripstop base.

Custom Panniers on a Quick Mount System

These panniers were developed with an initial enquiry via email about a set of Big Fella panniers without straps. Over a number of emails a design evolved that allowed a sheet of ply to slip inside the back of the panniers and a sheet of pvc on the outside. Mounted to these are the fittings of a quick mount system as many have on hard panniers.

The flap was shaped differently to cover the rolldown more than our standard panniers and there is a pocket inside the front for a piece of corflute for stiffening.
